• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Honda si

On the way home got to race a honda si manual.
It was from a 60 roll. I pulled a fender on him. That is all. I have headers 3.8 pulley and intake. He had intake. Those things are actually pretty damn quick.

Said it before ill say it again one word........... GEARS!!!!

He has them you dont from a dig it wouldnt have been close.

I 60 rolled my buddies 2010 si at work. He has header back exhaust, intake, tune. He started in 3rd went to 4th and then fifth I was still in 2nd at 95 when we let off. Yeah they have gears just really short ones, and we have 2nd gear, got to love that 2nd gear.

Because Im not driving a stock car so I could care less if the guy next to me is modded or not either.

Stock for stock is retarded might as well look up the manufacturers as tested times and compare them.

I raced an Si (07 I think) from a dig and I beat it by a car length stock. Pretty sure his had an intake and a header but thats all.

He would have gotten wrecked from a dig too. My buddy ran 13.1s all day with his nearly stock.
The Si or the GP??? There's absolutely no way a "nearly" stock si will run even close to 13.1. A header, intake, exhaust and properly tuned Hondata flashpro will only net you low 14's at best, and that's not nearly stock. Stock si's run low 15's or maaaaybe high 14's with a good driver. You're talking turbo or k20z3 head and k24 block with supporting mods to get in 13.1 "all day" territory.
I've just sold my 2010 ASM si sedan with I/H/E and flashpro to get out of payments, and now drive a 2000 GTP, which I acquired before selling the si. Cornering is a whole different ballgame with the si coming out on top obviously. I'm just speaking from actual experience of having owned both for quite some time. Two complete different animals for sure. I don't miss the lack of torque from the si, but the i-vtec is addicting with the 8k redline and 5500 rpm stock MAF setting or 8600 redline(Hondata tuned with 4700 rpm vtec crossover setting with MAP tune) and the handling on tight corners while keeping it screaming through it's sweet spot.
