20's or 22's on the gp?

I have a 01 gp gt and am getting rims next month. I have about 350 lbs in the trunk, so i would either lift the back end up for the 2's or lower the front for the 20's. The tires on both sets of rims would be 245/30's so does it matter whize size I go with?

I want the car to look proportionate(?) and still get attention.

So what are some positives and negatives to either 20's or 22's?

THNX!

In the trunk:
2 Audioque HDC312's D2
2 Audioque 2200D's
2 D3100's

PLeaseeeeeeee dont ruin a grand prix with 22's.If u must go big,go with dubs.Ur more than likely gonna have transmission problems if ur heavy on the gas with either set.

you guys are way out of line. 20s are the best size of wheels you can buy if you want a clean, nice looking grand prix. anything bigger doesnt do it the right way and smaller are...well, smaller.

get 20s, but it really depends on the style of wheel. if you get the ones that look like shields then i say booooooo. a nice 5 spoke would be best, but i have been looking at this style a lot more lately:

i see this all the time, people put 20+ inch rims on GM FWD vehicles and poof the tranny goes soon after. there is no sense in anything bigger than 18's on a grand prix, unless your trying to show off how ridiculous you can make a car look, beyond me why you need to put rims on a car that create rubbing/turning and transmission issues as well as VSS issues oh yeah then people put a lift kit on the car. i look at like this, if GM wanted my car to have over sized rims they would have put them on for me at the factory

you guys are nuts. 20s look good on prixs if youre lowered and with the right style of wheel. if you dont think so then youre crazy.

I got 20" on my gtp with 22" you would need a slight lift and you would loose ride and speed. With my 20" I can still go out to the strip

cause this car is ugly..

Why yes, it is.

Maybe it's you who's crazy...

i got a 2002 gtp with 20's. i can still corner at speeds, go to the drag strip but with 22's you will have to lift the car slightly and that will take away from the ride and performance. i got 245/35/20

HEY GET OFF HIS BACK
