I have a 1999 super charged GP. The first start up of the day the gas peddle is stuck. I have to step on it real hard to get it to move. The rest of the day it is not as bad to take off but it is still hard to take off. Every time I have start rolling its like I have start like its a race. I tried oil on every thing. Anybody have this problem.

Pop the hood and try to move the throttle by hand if its sticky clean your TB mine was doing that before and it looks horrid from the carbon or whatever from the EGR. If it works fine then might need to replace the throttle cable.

sounds like a worn out throttle cable. they break and a few strings of wire will catch the inside of the housing, just like on your bike when you were a kid.

same thing happened to my 97 gmc. had to turn the key back and toss it in N fast.

then i had to tie a string to the TB and into the cab to get to a dealership for a new one. as i was 100 miles from home when it let go.

I did clean tb body and the cable moves free when it is disconnected. Did anybody here of replacing the tb bushing.
