• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your Car today?

I haven't washed my car in about 3 weeks. Imagine it. To be fair it was dirtier before the hard rains we got today. So it got a little nature wash. Dirt don't hurt though.

It's been a few weeks since I washed mine. But it's been sitting outside getting rain baths all day and right now actually. And I'm totally ok with that.

Next weekend we may be in the fields for work, so that means I'll bring the truck home. If I do, my car will have to sit outside at work all alone all weekend. Poor thing. Maybe I can sweet talk them into letting me park it in the warehouse....hmmm. Not like it really cares what it does.

Got dad's trans pulled in his truck found some broken parts. Picking up replacement stuff and fixing it tomorrow. Also picked up my heads

New tail lights must be nice! This one probably has a half gallon in it. A new Ford truck... Danielle, did you get a free dog with that? lol. Just kidding its a spiffy rig. My boss bought one of those four doors that says platinum on it this week.

Today after work, with help to speed it up, we put the front hubs off my wrecked 02 on my DD 99. GTP, that is. That saved me $250, luckily they were both still good. Also swapped pads and rotors off it, they were like new and my old weren't. So the junker went all back together too. I actually bumped into the bumper shown below with the 40th because I spaced on pumping the brakes after all that. D'oh! Wiped off all except for a tiny crease. Came home and put a better paint job on my rear bumper top fade issue. Last week I had trouble with it, this time I got it right.

Dupli-King Scottydoggs, do you want to see? If you think its worthy, I have enough pics now to make a "how-to" with video for that, but only for black cars.

I buffed the bejeepers out of it. But thats right where the spray paint ends, the real glossy part is OE or refinish paint. I'll toss it together and throw it out on the porch to see if the cat licks it up.

Quoting self, lol.

I realize I just sounded like someone from Arkansas ... sorry, been listening to hill music.

Idrivejunk....no dog lol. Its an 08. But its free to me, no expenses. So I can't complain. It's actually a pretty nice truck. I think I prefer it over the 14 Silverado my boss has. The Silverado is just a work truck package and real boring.
I thought the ford had a v6 in it but I was wrong, its got the bigger v8 in it. I still can't figure out if it has 4x4. Its got no decals and there are no dials or anything on the interior to switch it. So. Im guessing its either 4x4 all the time or its a 2 wheel. But being a v8, wouldn't it typically be a 4x4?

I know that probably just sounded totally noob like. I just know nothing about fords.
I used to drive a f350 in high school but it had the stickers and manual shifter inside to engage 4wheel.

5.4 not a big v8 really. and its just a 150 and chances are its rwd only.

i call the F 150 a girls truck cause it just about worthless as a real work truck. and mostly girls drive F150's around here, no real man would be caught dead driving one lol

The selector would be to the right of the steering wheel, identical to the hvac knobs I think. My buddy's family has an 08 F150 too. 4.6 though, and is 4x4. Also you could just look under the truck to see if it's 4 wheel lol.
