maybe i'm a cheap bastard, but i'd drill a bunch of holes, and ziptie stitch it up. use a bunch of multicolor ones lol
 
bumper repair kit with mesh and epoxy is like 12 bucks. you put it on the back, fill the crack, repaint that area if not the whole lower fascia. why be ghetto and make stitches?

hell after you make it tight from the back i bet you could use one of them touch up pens on the paint side.
 






lappy is all back and rockin. saved my files so that's a relief... lost my software tho.. but i'm happy i got my documents still.
 
I was gonna tell you to copy the whole drive on to another drive, restore the computer then plop crap back over
