I am thinking of camming.....

I am thinking of camming my 2007 pontiac Grand Prix N/A with the L26. The problem with that I am hearing is it will need a tune. Which I am fine with. My question is that since it's an 07 would I have to change to a 04-06 PCM? If I do change the PCM what is different? Will it change my driver information like my odometer? Will I need a different wiring harness?

you would have to use a 04 pcm, iirc the gas gauge reads backwards tho. not sure if they worked something out for that yet or not.

n/a engines even cammed are still kinda slow, why not cam and top swap and go all the way.

I saw ZZP had a cam a while back that did not require a tune wasn't sure if it would be a good idea though. Headers are going on it anyway.

id contact will at overkill. he seems to be good with the tuned pcm's of the 05 and up cars.

you maybe able to run it with a stock tune, but lets face it, you'll get more out of it with a tune.

Either way I still need the tune which people keeps saying is impossible unless I switch to a 04-06

Well generally unless your going with a huge cam then no it's doesn't necessarily need a tune but if your going through all that work why wouldn't u tune it if a tune is not possible I wouldn't bother and would just stick to the intake hv3 maybe even rocker combo.
