What did you do to your Car today?

I've been looking for a 'gel' or a brush/wipe on shine.

This one is a brush on with a foam applicator which is provided. The other thing is theat it is a very thin liquid so it comes out really quick from the bottle. Most of the time I use either Adam's super VRT or Meguiar's D163 Tire & Trim gel with a carrand tire brush. Durability for me is about 1 month with 2 coats. Another one that get's good reviews is Chemicla Guys VRP. Similar to Adam's VRT. I also have a mothers tire dressing that is in a spray bottle and with that one I spray it onto a foam applicator and apply it to the tire.

My dad had a 09 4cyl I wanst impressed. It got worse gas mileage than my gp and it ate rotors like it was it's job.

I drove one when I was doing some traveling for work and I was not impressed with it either. I would get a V6 charger once in awhile and that got better gas mileage than the malibu.

I like the Malibu. And yeah - some of the 4 cyls out there now are just as powerful as some of our older 6s. Torquey as hell, too. The interior isn't bad...as was said earlier - better than tan...lol

I aligned my GP today. Right rear toe and left rear camber was adjusted, and front left camber and both front toe was adjusted. These pics were a little before the final assessment but it all ended up in the green except the front left toe was a bit in the yellow.

Caster is non-adjustable.

We ended up getting the left rear camber better, it was all in the green but forgot to take a pic.

Camber was adjusted by slightly slotting the strut holes, and on the right rear toe we needed the oxy/ace torch.

Cleaned mud from seats from dogs, vaccumed the inside, organised the trunk, lookes at it being flithy.

Fixed my door hinge that was making noise, the little roller that the pawl rides on was getting stuck from old grease probably. I took it off and there's a little hole meant for oiling I assume, but wasn't visible from the front. I shot brake clean through it a few times, dried, and oiled and reinstalled. No more cracking and squeaking noise. Also jacked it up and sprayed down the underbody from salt, and did all the water passageways such as sunroof drains, trunk/hood, and rockers. Lots of dirt came out from the rockers. The underbody had some, you could see all the dust/sand on the driveway afterwards.

Then I wanted to drive a bit to dry it up, so I did a few WOT pulls and hard braking. Thats also because I wanted to test my brakes and acceleration of course lol.

is that the tire dressing thats supposed to last 6 months? i thought i just saw a tv commercial for something like that.
I have not seen the commercial but we will see if it lasts that long. Just don't confuse thise for the black tire coat that comes in a spray can. That one doesn't work to well and it's almost like spraying rubber on your tire. The one I used is a tire gel. Oreilly has it for $14 and autozone for $15 around my area.
I've been using the Meguiar's tire gel for 10+ years. Looks similar to the Turtle Wax. We don't get long dry spells around here, but I did have it last for 2 months with some light rain. Very impressive, and it smells yummy too.

^ hated it slings around and doesn't last long at all.

I usually use opti bond now a days I don't like the whole shiney tire crap I prefer a clean matte look.

Nope barely put any on just wasn't happy about the product after several attempts. Just wouldn't last especially with the amount of rain we tend to get here.

Which hinge? My left rear is brutal all of a sudden. I lube it weekly, and after a few days it clunks and feels like it is going to rip off.
