Nice! I have the logo from my first half marathon with the date I ran it and 13.1 for the number of miles in a half marathon. This is on my right calf. When I do my first full, I'll get the logo from that marathon with the date and 26.2 on my right calf. If I ever do an ultra marathon (any race longer than 26.2 miles is an ultra) or a half iron man triathalon, I'm planning on getting a bio-mechanical tattoo on the outside of my right thigh.

Here's the one I have...

Well I applied for a job at the stealership cuz my grandpa knows the guy. Said the position was detailing. Still gonna apply for napa, advance, autozone and hope for a bite.

Yeah, my grandpa just paid 1070 for new rotors and pads all around and a LF wheel bearing on his avalanche. He knows the guys good and got like 250 the bill

my brother worked at a garage for a while. for a full size truck it was the norm to charges up to 850 for rotors and pads installed. hubs for them trucks are about 300 bucks too.

so thats not to far off for shop price.

after all the parts alone would cost you 350 to 500 in hand.

The flying pig in Cinci? I ran the Air Force 1/2 marathon at wright pat a couple years ago. I'd love to do it again.

Yup - flying pig in cinci. Air Force is still my fastest half..2:14:44. It's a good race, but the Pig is better. More crowd support, and you cross into Kentucky and back again. But, there's lots of hills in Cinci...lol

The only half marathon I ran I did in 1:58:18. My goal was under two hours and I barely got it. Every thing else I've ran has been mostly 10k's and a few 5k's.

That's awesome for you guys. Itd be an experience to do for sure. I honestly just hate running lol, not to mention I'd probably fall down and break something. I'm clumsby

I hope to run another half marathon next year. I'm finally able to start running again so I'd like to do at least one 10k this year.

I'm doing the half at Akron this year...should be fun! I've never actually done a 10k. TONS of 5k and even an 8k, but never a 10k. lol

Mariah - I used to hate running too, until I started losing weight, and felt SOooo much better about myself.

Never heard of an 8k before.. Haha. I've ran a few 5k's but I love 10k's. Just the perfect length to challenge me but not be overwhelming. Half marathons I can do one maybe two a year. 10k's I can do once a month maybe even twice a month.

Right - once you build up the base, a 5k or 10k is nothing if you're already running as a habit. 8k is basically 5 miles. Most "turkey trot" type races are 5 miles or 8k (the difference between 5 miles and 8k is a few hundred yards, I think.).
