Milwaukee M18 Fuel 1/2" Impact

Has anyone else out there used the newer Milwaukee 18 volt fuel impact. I had a chance to use one at work the other day and I have to say it is pretty damn amazing for a battery powered impact. It will torque a nut down to slightly higher than an Ingersoll Rand Titanium Impact and will remove a torqued nut even faster than the titanium will.

I personally have always thought that battery powered tools would never be as good as the pneumatic or 120 volt but this has really impressed me. For only 200 some dollars i may very well buy one.

I'm switching over to all Milwaukee tools at the moment. Both corded and cordless. On battery packs, I'd go with the M18 4.0 XC (extended capacity) over the regular XC. I got to use my cordless M18 Sawzall today with the XC battery pack, and it wore out pretty quickly as I was cutting through a bunch of steel tubing. I like how the Fuel tools have the built in battery indicator.

I would put my Snap-On CT7850 up against any other 1/2" cordless impact made....and half of the air guns too. The only way I was buying a cordless was if I bought the best one.

Kind of an old thread but FWIW I used the Fuel at work off the Cornwell truck. I was able to bust loose a lug of a semi which are torqued to minimum 450 ft lbs. I ran it back down with the Fuel. Set the wrench to 450 and it clicked. 475 and it clicked. 500 and I just BARELY turned it.
