2004 Panda Prix Comp G - The beginning for it's new owner

Re: 2004 Panda Prix Comp G - The end of an era

Panda...is gone. :(

I couldn't be there today to say good bye :( so the pictures were taken by my father who helped get it loaded.

I owe a lot of people on here a great deal for the knowledge I have of this platform and building this car, particularly Bill, I owe him a lot. My father as well, he helped me into this car when in 2008 I was living out of a pickup truck and helped me get back on my feet big time. BioNick, BlueNick, Jason, Austin, MikeCats, Matt, Adrian, Justin, Scott, Kory, Brian, Trevor, Max, and Ryan I owe you all for the inspiration, ideas and everything you guys have given to help me make this car what it is...and for putting up with me...in the chat box. All the guys who have followed my thread and gave words of encouragement, THANK YOU.

My wife actually cried a little when I told her it was on the trailer and going to its new home, no it wasn't tears of joy. She and I met in that car, she helped me work on it, she and I had our first date in that car, we got married in that car...damn these onions....they are everywhere.

Here are the last pictures with me...
Not sure if you're talking about me?

Anyway. Congrats on selling it. Bittersweet I'm sure. Your car is hands down the reason mine ended up on coils. I saw yours and was like "wow, that's cool"

Re: 2004 Panda Prix Comp G - The end of an era

I am the one who purchased Panda.

I received the car about an hour ago and have had the chance to go over it... All I can say is wow. You'd never guess it's a 10 year old, 110,000 car. Thanks to everyone who has helped Dave get it to the point it is at now, it has so much character.

Also, no need to worry about it getting "hacked" up lol. Nothing will be done to this car besides fixing a couple small quirks. And yes, it will be at the June meet in Royal Oak.

Thanks again- Nick

Of course it was you, you along with the others always had good input in the chat box or in posts.

Re: 2004 Panda Prix Comp G - The end of an era

I remember looking in the classifieds at this car at least 10 times. It is absolutely amazing, and honestly, the same as mine would end up looking if I wasn't a broke 17 yr old lol. I'm glad it'll be kept the way it is, and not chopped up. Still, you moved from one company that doesn't exist anymore, then bought a car from another company that doesn't exist. I don't care tho, SAABs RULE!

Saab still exists, they are just owned by a different company now.

Ahh. Well I feel honored knowing I played a part in how the car turned out, no matter how big or small.
