How to replace multi turning switch in 07 Grand Prix?

Replacing the multi switch/turning signal and need advise. Anyone done it before? Do I disconnect the battery and pull out the air bag fuse first? Thanks!
 


I have done this. Basically what you need is 90° ratcheting screwdriver a T-25 Torx bit and alot of patience. I didn't even mess with the airbag. The plastic shroud is the hardest part of the entire job. It really has to be muscled in and out it just uses alot of plastic clips with the shroud off you will see the switch there are 2 T-25 screws that hold it on. Once you have the screws removed pull out the switch and disconnect all 3 harnesses. Simply slide your finger nail or a screwdriver under the tab and give it a firm tug. It will come off. Once that is done repeat the steps backwards.
