What did you do to your Car today?

Installed SD headers with a local friend, never doing that again smh. Removing everything was pretty much a breeze except accessing the rear Mani bolts but the egr section and now a vacuum leak somewhere got me pissed. Took us basically all day. Glad they are on though.

I'll be doing mine soon. How did you do yours? All out and back in through the top? Or the billboost way?

Drove it around with Clay, Auston (or whatever he drives a prius :P) another another cool guy. Was unable to keep up with the Regal. Realised an intake on N/A sounds awesome.

Did it from the top. Man make sure that motor is ratchet strapped mad forward, and when slidding in rear header move dipstick towards brake master cylinder, remove the Map sensor bracket etc and have some fun maneuvering. It can be done though, I'd suggest you have a friend help and figure out what you wanna do with the egr system before everything.

Thanks for the tips. I'll probably go the billboost way and drop the rear subframe bolts a bit and do it that way. My EGR is already deleted so I just have to plug it on my headers so no big deal.

Thanks for coming down Kyle. Matts car sounded surprisingly good didn't it? Haha. You need more boost though.. I can fix that :)

If you want you could do what I originally did with mine and run a cone filter off the stock tubing. I could even get you 20% off on the filter at AutoZone.

My car is put back together with all new front suspension parts. Went for a quick test drive, it corners really well now with the new 34mm solid sway bar and all moog hd bushings/links. The struts need to settle in though, it looks like it's got a lift kit.

After the quick drive I can tell it settled a bit since this pic, we'll see by morning.

Yeah that's what I thought lol. You should have seen it the first time I set it down, it was higher than that. The pic was after 5 minutes or so. Going around corners fast is like nothing now, almost no body roll that I can even tell.

4x4!! with Michigan roads shouldn't take long to settle. Clay I'll prob just hit up lowes for plumbing fittings . eventually

Cleaned and reoiled my cone filter, cleaned my MAS, and took the throttle body off and cleaned it and around the opening of the supercharger.

I realized how filthy it was under the hood too. As soon as the weather breaks for good it is getting a good detail under there.

Guess the saying once you go black you never go back is true. I went back from the chrome wheels on the Gxp back to black wheels. Just looked to gaudy.

Did you wait to tighten the top 3 bolts on each strut until it was on the ground?
