Anyone removed the long bracket connecting alternator to supercharger?

Has anyone removed the long metal bracket that connects the top/back part of the alternator to the back side of the supercharger? It looks like this bracket would not be needed as there are several other bolts that fix the alt. in place.

I am wanting to remove for weight and clutter savings. Obvi. not necessary, but wanted to find out if anyone has experience with this.

yup. its off for 3 years now. its just in the way really.

I only used mine because I heavily modified my alternator bracket when I did my IC setup. Otherwise, I don't see where it would be all the necessary.

I actually snapped mine in half the first time I took the alt off

I have zero engine pull brackets or that alt brace bar thingy.

I'm a rebel.
