Who would be excited if Pontiac went into production with this?

It could be done with a lot of modification. West Coast Customs made a 2 door charger that looked pretty sweet. Getting the pieces of glass for the windows would be the biggest pita. all thats done to make the door is move the door pillar back and then slice the front door in half and add a section from the rear door to extend it. Then the back part of the rear door is used to create the front part of the quarter panel. There's a lot of bondo on a car like that and IMO it wouldn't be worth it. But it definitely looks bad ass

Victor (I believe that's his name) created that picture.

He was a member on here from a long time ago. That car had a turbo build on it and he photoshopped that picture of his car.

That car was gorgeous, inside/out/under the hood. It was one hell of a car, but he sold it.

Maybe if the G8 was a 2 door, I mean the G8 GXP is nice, but besides the ws6 I dont think Id buy any other newer Pontiac

I fail to understand why four doors has become the standard. Big luxury coupes have always appealed to me. That final gen of GPs doesn't do much for me but that pic is an interesting concept. Heck its only sheetmetal, that could really happen if the want was there.

They've become the standard for one reason...money! Here's one example, if the Dodge Charger had been made as a coupe only car instead of a sedan believe me they would have sold a lot less them, and i mean a lot and they know it. Not everyone buys a Charger or a G8 simply for the speed or looks. A lot of them have little kids or whatever and love those four doors.

^ Exactly. Offering 4 doors opens the car to a broader audience. People with kids (especially those in car seats) would MUCH prefer having 4 doors. 2 doors are great for high school and college kids, but families need 4 doors.

Yup 4 doors opens way more doors. It's easier to convince the man that his wife would approve of him let's say buying a g8, ctsv etc since he has kids as opposed to him spending a similar amount on a Vette when he has kids. I always preferred sedans anyways since they tend to have more leg space

No pun intended....right

I know its the same amount but I think (feel like) the older 2 doors had more rear room than the 4 doors, not saying your wrong just wanted to post about something lol

It may be true (doubtful...lol) but getting IN to that back seat is a PITA...and it's REALLY a PITA to put a car seat back there...lol
