My understanding is with the thicker air we have here, our car's don't see the same boost levels as in other areas up north of the us. So we can drop pulley sizes a little differently than near sea level.

We are mile high in elevation. So compared to sea level. Car's react differently in higher elevation's.

This is why we need superchargers, they reduce the effects of thinner air. The town I live in sits at 7000 feet
 
nice people still drive these things, is anyone running a high elevation 3.4 or 3.3 without a cam or IC if so what mods
 


I ran a 3.4 on my last grand prix. I had a cold air intake, ported throttle body, power log, ported rear manifolds ceramic coated crossover pipe and a 2.5" down pipe. I was also running a zzp 1.0 pcm, auto lite 104 and a 180 thermostat
 
1999. I eventually switched to headers, added 1.9 roller rockers and a gen V. I should have just stopped at the 3.4 and started working on a different vehicle
 
I have a 3.35 on my park avenue with a ported gen 3, 4" intake, 104s, throttle body spacer, stock exhaust, and tuned by my buddy Zack and 0kr
 
I have a fsic on both my regals one is a gen v setup and the other is gen 3 both are rocker cars for now. I have a xp and heads waiting to go on the gen v setup or if I can find it a cheap turbo setup will fall on.

on you genV what pulley are u running an what rockers r u running

3.2 with a full size ic and 1.8 RR and headers and 2.5 cat back. Going to redo the setup since it has to be pulled anyway. Will get a xp and heads and new headers. The paces*****rs rusted in several spots.
Other car has a 1.84 RR and fully ported gen 3, ported lim,heads and polished and blended n* ssac stock cat back alum cradle and both impact bars alum then fbodies and ga rears dorman front sway gmpp rear stb front and rear gr2 shocks all around, shift kit 3.0 pulley 42.5 injectors. Light stock rims kappa speakers all around with a 12 in reference sub hptuner tune an6 fuel lines big 3 mod 4 in cai
