keyless entry fob module for 2000 grand prix gt

Hello,
I have a 2000 Grand Prix GT. Both of the keyless fobs stopped working all of a sudden. I took them to a Pontiac dealer to see if it was the fobs. I have the original ones with lock, unlock, horn & trunk. They did a quick check & found out that they are still working properly. I tried to do a search on the keyless entry fob module for 2000 grand prix but nothing comes up. I have done some reading & I tried to resync the fobs with module by pushing & holding the lock & unlock buttons for 14 seconds. But that did not work. I was wondering if anyone knows the location of the keyless entry fob module or if they have had a similar problem?

The module is in the dashboard behind the DIC... An expensive little bugger too if needing replacement.

theres more to reprogramming the fobs then what your saying. a fuse has to be pulled then a few more steps before you push the fob lock and unlock together.

junk yard is your best shot for a new receiver.
