Yep, my rear valve cover is like that. New gasket seals fine.

Though I did go and try to flake off any of that plastic bit that's left so that it doesn't get into the motor.

^^ that is bull.. you don't know anything about computers.. doesn't work like that.. yes there is a cache file but its a temp.. and the files in it are so small that it would take too many to count to take up even a GIG
