No start after engine put back together

so your car is also sucking in coolant from the throttlebody? im gonna have to pull my spark plugs and turn the engine over and shoot out any coolant that is fouling the mixture, but i think this is only part of my problem. i feel like my pushrods are too long as well.

we will see after i get everything put back together. im gonna fill the coolant holes with quicksteel.

Yea my car sucked coolant in the throttle body and a little in the supercharger but I'm puttin new coolant in soon but it has to be my coils man Im feelin like that's the issue fuel pump primes everytime I crank it but it seems like you need to go back to stock for pushrods any reason why you got aftermarket ones?

they are stock size, just lightweight, but i got ls7 lifter that dont like as much preload. i need shorter ones

so far, i found coolant in my intake leaking from between the adaptor plate and my supercharger getting sucked into inlet. gotta figure out a way to seal that, maybe some quicksteel. will get the stuff to fix it tomorrow and go from there. would that be enough to stall out the engine, i dont think it ingested enough coolant to fill the cylinders
Coolant doesn't have to fill the cylinders. If the spark plugs get wet with coolant, they won't spark and cause misfires. That will cause the car not to start if enough of them got wet. My Expedition had a misfire, so I pulled that sparkplug. Found it was wet with coolant so fixed the coolant leak issue for that cylinder and no misfires now. Spark, gas and compression are needed with the air. If one is missing, engine won't run.

okay. I really hope this fixes my problem. will give a update after I get off work and fill the coolant holes and slap it back together.

it didn't sound like valves where open when it was running. I have heard that sound before. puff puff puff sound

Yeah hopefully. Think you were looking at it complicated like I usually do when you just had to step back to the basics.

gotta take of superharger to fill coolant holes, mind as well do pushrods too. will happen saturday all day

got everything together and it started up. but my throttle cable was kinked a while back and it won't work with this throttle body. its too short, so I have to replace that and I broke my throttle pedal when I was thrhing to fix it.

my lower intake manifold had a pool of coolant in it. all my spark plugs were soaked in coolant. got my pushrods in and everything. got some stuff to wire out. think I have a small vac leak. I hear a whistling sound

So it stays running now then? If so cool. Coolant on the spark plugs will definitely do it.

I'm pretty sure the coolant was the main contributing factor of the stalling and no start. but I put the pushrods in just for a piece of mind.

there was a lot of coolant in the intake.

now im having problems like before, when my IAC connector came loose, gotta keep gas pedal down some to keep it from dieing. and it cuts out bad when trying to accelerate.

anyone fimiliar with the IAC setup on the Northstar setup with the zzp adaptor plate?
