the newer style lower airdam that fits inside the bumper helps a ton too!

if you want a good cooling upgrade, you can install the the 2003-2006 impala 9c1 police cooling fans. Their both high speed fans instead of low and high

Id have to dig to see if I can find the email from when I ordered the part from gmpartsdirect but the airdam from 99 up is different its not just a little flap under the rad support like the earlier ones the 99up fits inside the bottom of the front bumper and goes all the way back to the cradle if I remember right. The older ones were wimpy and the newer ones catch curbs if your half retarded and drive like my wife half the time and go until the tires hit the damn parking block!!!!

Oh, okay. I have a 2000 so I already have a newer style. We should compile all this info into one thread so we junkyarders can have a shoping list, lol.

installed zzp 10.5mm plug wires and billet shorter dog bones, which were a bia to install.

oh forgot to add, put my gauge pod up for a test fit, and broke the tabs on the stock one, now im stuck with a empty gauge pod. first gauge will be a aem wideband, then fuel pressure, and boost

installed LS7 lifters and Intense Lightweight pushrods. pic of inlet porting, not finished still balancing the egr divot and polishing. waiting on gaskets and rocker arm bolts to put everything back together. Will be next weekend.
