Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Drl problems

So I went to pull my drl fuse to get my headlights to not be on all the time now my headlights just flicker. How do I get them to stay off when I have the light switch in the off position

At night or just during the day? I wanted to disable my DRL's and leave the auto headlights alone, I did this by pulling the connector on the DRL resistor in the access panel on the drivers side. There are blue and brown wires going to mine.

If you are not moving, I think if you set the e-brake and then start the car they will stay off unless the auto-headlights take over.

On the dash when you open the drivers door, there's a little panel. Pop the cover, and look towards the front and there will be a resistor with a heat sink. Unplug the connector, use something like a pocket screwdriver on the bottom to lift both tabs.

If u want to remove the auto headlights as well you can install a resister where the light sensor is in the middle of the dash... There is a thread somewhere about what ohms to use

Just pull the plug from the silver heat sink to disable the drl on the driver side in that little area when you open the drivers door. If you want to disable the automatic headlights, go to the fuse box and look for what fuse it is and pull that. If you start to hear the clicking by your feet, find that module thing and i forget which plug it is, but unplug one of those two and it will stop, then you have full control of your headlights!

I have an 02 GTP and unplugged the wire from the DRL silver box and inserted a resister where the photo resister was and now have full control of my head lamps
Interesting. My headlights stayed on all the time (with key on) with the resistor or the wire disconnected. I can say for sure that not all '01+ GP's can do the resistor mod.

I ended up doing this..... Alarm_Light_Flash

I just pulled the fuse and the sensor connection. Worked great for the first three start up. No the sensor clings like no other. But the lights stay off till I turn them on. How do I make the clicking to stop

I've always heard that happens but I have no clue what's the cause. Find it and disconnect whatever it is? It may be a relay under the dash on the passenger side or something.

Under the drivers side is the resistor. If that's the only thing you unplug, you will have no problems. If you pull the fuse or daylight sensor you may, and the resistor cannot buzz if unplugged lol.
