L32 year/model/indentification help

I'm looking for an l32 block. And have some questions.


What year and make cars did these come in (supercharged 04+ grandprix's Ect.)?

And how would i indentify an engine that was already pulled out of a car. Such as if i went to a junk yard to pick it up.
 


Only featured in 04+ GPs. How to identify it? The Gen V M90 would be the easiest way, as well as the drive by wire.
 
So both N/A and S/C 04+ GP's?


What about if it doesent have the S/C?
You wouldnt happen to have a compare pic of a gen3 and a gen 5 would you. So i could tell. Never really looked at one real close before.Although if the time came i guess i could just go and look at mine to compare it.

Lol, the N/A Series III is the L26, so no it would have to be supercharged to be the L32.

I think Street has some good pictures to compare by. And I know you can find pictures of a Gen V on ZZP or something. Otherwise just look to see if it's drive by wire.
 
Wow, so that is the ONLY cars the l32 was offered in was the 04+ huh? ...Well thanks for the help man.
