Lol... Exactly... Just got rid of the permit and thought we would go smash some cars around...
I hear what you guys are saying tho.. I'd be pissed and the Dart was a nice car... But what if it was some 18 year old kid in a Honda civic who works at McDonald's who smacked the Dart? He'd have to work for 2years to pay the repair bill on that thing!
Lol. I said I don't know how much will be paid. I don't know **** about 68 dodge darts. I have no idea what it is to fix it. 5000?? 25000?
As far as suing. That's laughable as they signed a no fault waiver which basically Makes every driver responsible for damage to their car, as well as waives any insurance for Any car at the track... Also protects the city from being sued as well as the promoter of this event... So technically he doesn't have to pay a dime. But he's not like that... If the Dart driver had the mentality of some members in here and it was my gtr, I'd tell you to f off...
He signed the paper knowing this could happen... Sucks for him but for you guys to just go off on someone over an "accident" is stupid.... If he took a baseball bat to the car sure he would owe 100%.. But this is an accident... In drag racing... It happens.
I'm sure you would say the same thing if the dodge had gone wild and TOTALED the GTR.
When your racing you have no rights...thats the risk you take. No one is going to force anyone to pay anything.
I've been racing for over 15 years and have seen this situation occur too often...the manly thing to do is step up and help cover the other guys damage as best as possible if it was your fault.
As I said above the car was staged crooked.
Cars with this much power racing on a poorly prepped track need to be staged properly in the groove...someone should have been up there to help him.
How is he supposed to pay it?And your point?
How is he supposed to pay it?
That makes no senseIf they are working at McDonald's they probably shouldn't be out there in the first place.
First off.. I want to know what kit is in the car. Be it an alpha or Switzer kit.
Second, is the transmission built and what axles is he running?
Third, what tires were those and what size? Because they look wayyy to small.
