I've actually been trying to devise a way to do it with my LS4 engine cover...I will soon

Sent using CDMA via Verizon wireless's cellular network
 
Right before I finished up the engine install:

Pretty much looks the same now, except for the thicker wires coming off of the alternator (Ground and charge wire), relays for the headlight harness I build, a power wire for the stereo, and oh yea...a battery...

Hey Dee, jest want you to know that I'm using your engine cover design to modify mine. I'm still trying to decide how I want to do it but I will.
