2000 Turbo Regal



I keep going in and out of this idea that the car needs to be manual.
I just wish there was a trans that would handle it.

I was looking around and saw 2000 Turbo Regal and thought "I love turbo Regals" then saw the member name and was like

Keep auto for better track times. I thought you were just getting a trans built.

I picked this up a few months ago to beat around in, in the event that my car needed to be down for any length of time.

It's not fast... I only ran 14.4 @ 98 in it.
But it's got a slick 6spd and it's an absolute blast to drive.
The Regal needs a manual. But I'm stuck between fun and useful. I would never be able to race anyone from a stop in a manual FWD Regal with 600-700hp.
And racing from a stop is what I want to do lol

So it's always back and forth with the manual swap :-\

It's not really something I'm meaning to keep so it's actually for sale lol
But it's just reminded me how much more fun a manual car is.
My next car will definitely be manual... but I still haven't found something I'm that into. I'm hoping the new GNX does something for me.

Friend of mine has a TL with intake and exhaust sounds good and its actually pretty quick....those are worth alot should sell it and get a C5

Yeah it's not bad, and they're definitely worth a good amount. I'm asking $15,250 for this one.
But I'm looking for something newer than a C5. I was gonna throw down on a 09+ CTS-V but a friend of mine bought one and I'm not gonna copy him lol.
Now I gotta wait and see if the GNX is worth it.. otherwise I'm just gonna go straight into something german.
 


Going back through, I really like how you did the IC piping. Makes more sense the way you routed it honestly. The pictures take some time to distinguish what is what, but once you have it figured out it really is a helpful series. Can you take some more overall shots?

The IC piping? Because it's tucked away pretty good, it's likely impossible to get a shot of entire sections.

You're kinda right... I didn't even take the bumper/cover off to install the intercooler lol.
The whole thing took about an hour hahaha

SnowFlake if you ever decide to sell the Turbo Regal look me up. Seriously.... Damn

It'd take a pretty ridiculous offer to get me to agree to selling it lol
