I'm in favor of making all tint legal regardless of the reason as long as drivers can still see clearly anytime. After all drivers should have the right to let his play thing hang loose while on a long drive. ;)

yes it happens, ask a semi drivers they sometime see those while on freeway. Tinted glass would offer better privacy and protect semi from witnessing indecent exposures.
 
I'm in favor with either sticking with your states tint laws or pay the ticket if/or when you get one!

It's that simple.
 
We have a fishbowl guy? ^ If so I'm at that point as well, I considered tint but didn't want any trouble. I would go 35% all around if I did tint.
 
Roll your windows down if you get pulled over and don't be a douche bag and I'm sure you can get out of the tickets majority of the time.

I cooperate with the officer every time, say yes sir and no sir, and I have yet to get a ticket for it.
 


My thought is; I bought the tint knowing it was illegal. Therefore, i have no room to biitch if it happens. I have way illegal tint in my state btw. (no tickets after 1.5 years)

My point exactly I went 5% knowing it wasn't legal and if I did get a tint ticket I was prepared to pay no *****ing here.

Same here been pulled over for everything besides tint and never once did they mention the tint.

This is how I feel. I got illegal tint knowing that I will eventually get a ticket and have to pay or remove it. Yes I did make a rant thread about getting a ticket but I didn't complain that it was unfair or anything. I understand why I got it and accept that. BUT it still sucks to get a ticket and have to pay that money and that's why making a rant thread about it makes perfect sense.
 


There's nothing wrong with ranting cause you got it ticket. It sucks therefore is worth ranting about. I didn't complain how it's unfair the cop gave me a ticket because it's a stupid law or anything. It's a law and I broke it so I got a ticket. I can accept that and have no problem with it. Still sucks though. See what I'm saying?
 
I have like illegal tint, I just roll my windows down if I see a cop. I live in Michigan now, iv been pulled over 5 times for it because cops here are strict. I just play stupid and say.. Ohhh my tints illegal? I'm from Florida, where it's so hot and sunny and they allow it.. I'm sorry what's the tint I'm allowed to have? Then they tell me what percent I need, then they just let me off the hook and say take care of it when you can! :p

i've been fishbowl since i've been rolling low and slow. it's easier and doesn't call me out as much.
 
Why rant about a ticket you got? Sure if you didn't do whatever you got a ticket for go ahead and rant but when you admit to doing whatever you got a ticket for why rant?
 
because it still sucks. For me personally I'm not pissed about it at all cause i knew it could happen so it's not like a real rant. It's more like "I got a ticket. That sucks cause now I have to pay money." /rant

That's funny. I've got friends that have tint here in MI but they haven't had problems. 20% or higher though, not insanely dark. So you've been pulled over 5 times for your tint here in Michigan? What %?
