I've been trying to register on this forum for years and it finally let me!! The BurbMan moniker is my main driver, a 2001 2500 Suburban with 8.1L big block and 4.10 rear axle, and 12,000 lb tow rating.

I'm here because I also own an '01 Grand Prix GT and a '98 Grand Prix GT, both loaded with leather CD, etc. Currently 118K miles on the 01 and 115K miles on the 98. Newly dubbed "money pits 1 and 2" since the 01 needed springs and struts all around last summer to the tune of $1500, and the 98 is currently having the tranny rebuilt after the front seal blew and melted everything inside.
