How could people that all own the same car sit here and say everyone else's is slow? I think the only thing slow here are members of this forum.

Your opinion of what is fast has no bearing on how I feel about my car, its value to me or its fair market value. This is the Grand Prix forums. Not the who has the Fastest Grand Prix forums. I own the car, I've had it for 6 years and I've enjoyed it. I cant take that thing out without getting stopped twice by people to talk about my car. Sure I could spend 14 grand on parts and upgrades and make the car retardedly powerfull, I just wasn't interested in doing that. I'm also not interested in going through a transmission a summer. And trying to have the fastest car is like trying to prove you're the ultimate tough guy. Theres always someone tougher. I guess I just don't have that much to prove. I guess my penis just isn't that small.I have no reason to lie. Don't be a whiner just because your car isn't fast.
I haven't been the only one to tell you that your car isn't fast either.
No way 0.oI raced a Veyron once in a Grand Prix and had him by bus links. True story.

LOL @ the butthurt ITT. It reminds me of all the rustled jimmies in ls1tech when guys were getting blue in the face trying to say that LSx cars can be better than the Texas lambo's.
So you have a almost stock grand prix and people can't stop talk about your car? I wanna live in your area cause here there a billion gps and no on gives a **** boutem lol
Everything you said is true. But a lot of the vehicles you mentioned don't have and never will have the aftermarket the GP does. This guy made a good vid on the subject. Worth the watch. Sleepers - YouTubeVery few on GPF have gone fast.
I can only think of a handful of the top of my head who have gone 11 seconds or faster.
New C7 runs 12.2. Camaros/mustangs all running 12's with the higher trim levels, lower V8 trim levels require better drivers/track prep/track conditions. V6 cars with bolt ons running low 13's or better.
Kinda makes your 14.5 second run seem pretty pointless when say a genesis now runs 14's with a four, and 13's with a six.
Considering the engine came out in 1995 for the L36 and 96 for the L67, it's not that bad. But the average car does this now.

Basically any car in the sub 30K sedan V6 class runs 14's now.
Dollar for dollar, you can keep up with most modern V6 sedans, and still afford to replace everything on your car multiple times before the dollars match up. The only downside is fuel economy, comfort, entertainment, safety and so on. You won't be able to touch any performance orientated vehicles though, and that is merely the point people are trying to make. Your vehicle is now average.
If your vehicle is average, it is not fast.
