My Dark Green Metallic GTP - Solddd

Re: Another Dark Green Metallic GTP

paint takes time to dry...... nice car, im a fan of green myself, i drove 2 green pickups for over 10 years.

Re: Another Dark Green Metallic GTP

I apologize for all these crappy pics. They were taken with my phone lol. Just some pics of the interior and my cute little system

Re: Another Dark Green Metallic GTP

Nice very clean looking. I really don't see a lot of greens driving around lots of reds, blacks, whites, slivers. Did some gtp's come with no HUD?

Re: Another Dark Green Metallic GTP

A pic of the intake. 2 problems though... I drilled the hole a little too big for the sensor, anyway to fix this? I rigged it to fit for now, but I want it not rigged lol. Any suggestion on how to give the sensor a tight fit? I don't mind buying another pipe and redoing it. Also, there was a gap between the filter and the inlet for the pvc. I'll probably just take it back and get another one, but here it is! The supercharger whine is awesome though! :burnrubber0:

Re: Another Dark Green Metallic GTP

small bead of rtv, or gorilla glue will hold it in place, and seal it. mine was a bit loose as well, thats why i glued it in. either way you use can be broken free and change the sensor if need be.

how do you like hearing the supercharger now? if you can keep out of the gas and light foot it, you should gain "a" mpg. on your avg.

Re: Another Dark Green Metallic GTP

Will do! Tried the rtv, but my bro in law used a bit more than a bead. So we wiped it off and zip tie rigged it for now lol. Also slid an o ring on the sensor just to give a little more snug fit to it for now. Works fine! I'll try the glue. And what do you mean by seal?

Re: Another Dark Green Metallic GTP

air tight seal, by gluing it is what i meant. glue/rtv it, leave it unplugged over night so nothing pulls on it, and in the morning it will be ready to go.

Re: Another Dark Green Metallic GTP

yes, then push it into the glue or rtv., wipe off the excess. let it set over night. you can leave it on the car, no need to take it off.

check the clamps every few days, mine fell off a few times. i used the clamps that came with the home depot coupler, they are not auto clamps, and they seem to back off for a while. after a few months its been tight and dont fall off any more.

Re: Another Dark Green Metallic GTP

Thanks for the info! So take out sensor, apply rtv or glue, then clean off excess, put back on and let dry? Just making sure I got this all figured out lol

Re: Another Dark Green Metallic GTP

i envy the exterior color, i regret the tan interior. cool ride.

Re: Another Dark Green Metallic GTP

small beat of rtv on the pvc, around the hole, then push the ait sensor into the hole, wipe the excess off. let it sit over night.

Re: Another Dark Green Metallic GTP

i left my iat sensor dangling by the side for years, no issues.

Re: Another Dark Green Metallic GTP

Lookin good! Lucky your cup holders aren't broke LOL mine on the driver side broke off. Very clean car inside and out.

Re: Another Dark Green Metallic GTP

I appreciate the compliments you guys are giving me about the green machine. Truly appreciated :th_biggrin1:
