I hate cops

think about how much your taxes are, lets say there 20 cops on a local force, thats 50 grand each a year or more, X 20, then they pay out real nice pensions as well after only 20 years. that you pay for in the long run.
and most cops dont pay social security either. as they flat out say cops have a short life span due to stress. i think its the drinking most of them do.
i come from a family full of cops, they are all drunks. my family i can say it lol one family member was chief of NYC police he made a 90,000 a year pension, tell me thats right? and then worked as head of security for the Islanders hockey team at the Coliseum for just home games, and made another 60 grand a year for that.<<<talk about a part time job right?
cops around here have a second job because they can, most around here own a construction company, that is operated by others, and they can keep tabs on it all day long as they have much down time during the day. and make money with out getting their hands dirty.
my fathers old partner, (roofing co) was a cop, ( this guy was a dick i never liked him, from a small kid you know whos a dick) he wound up putting his kid in charge of his 1/2 of the company, he did the residential side, my dad did the commercial side. after that he did nothing but collect checks. and drive a cop car. oh and not pay his taxes, like i said, he was a dick, so they had to sell the co to pay off the irs, nice guy right.
this ass even arrested me once. nice guy. for trespassing in a house we were being paid to work on too. he flat out didnt believe us. yet the walls have fresh paint on them and we had paint on us. tarps on the floor, windows, doors, trim all taped off. looked like we were doing a painting job. good job barney fife.....

Most people only hate cops when they have done something wrong and got caught.
In the KC Metro we have many different areas (very nice upscale $1m+ houses to the "slums" or "ghetto" and everything in between) The police officers in the lower income areas have a lot more to deal with. They are the ones who truly put their lives on the line everyday to protect the rest of us, and don't get paid nearly enough for what they do. And on the other end of the spectrum, there are areas where the cops have nothing to do but give tickets. The only "crime" in those areas are the teenagers smoking pot and drinking, and old men driving their Porsche's too fast. They get paid a lot more to sit around and take radar, pull over teenagers and badger them until they give consent to search, and not a whole lot else.
I'm not saying i love or hate any cops, but there are those I have massive respect for and those I have hardly any respect for.

My grandpa retired with the highway patrol here in Kansas and when I took my deceased grandfathers car which came to find out was going to be my 16th bday present It was in 2006 and I am 20 so do the math I ran from my step family for 31/2 hours with 1/4 tank and no oil knocked the pan out how the car never blew up is beyond me but after 4 hours went by they finally called him and he called the police on me which I hated him for!!! But I realized he was just helping me out!! Oh the car is a 78 impala 350ci motor still ran when they pulled it off the truck and ran till they put a motor in it and then sold it lol.. But my grandpa even though he retired was never a asshole but even if you were family he didn't let you off with a freebie. Now my moms been a vin inspector for highway patrol for 18 years so idk surrounded by cops guys help lolol...
If you think cops are good please make a trip out to Saint Charles Missouri. The cops there like to beat minorities with a passion. I have seen these cops plant drugs on people numerous times just because they didn't like them. These are the most racist hillbilly cops I've ever seen. other cops in different cities seem to be alright. I will say this though that there were a few really nice cops so they are not all bad, just in this city it seems as though there are more crooked cops then good ones. I now live in St. louis city and the cops around here actually do their job and dont harass people unless warranted.

I don't think every cop is totally bad. But, do think the situation is getting wrose fast.
I agree because now any idiot can get a badge nowadays. i don't know if it is the same where you guys live but here they got rid of the law that required all law enforcement to have at least 21 credit hours of college now they need none. not only are the cops getting worse they're are getting dumber too lol.

Um, no. There is so much more that goes into becoming a cop. My cousin is getting into that now. There are about 6 different phases you have to get through to even think about getting into the academy.
