After a long month of not having a vehicle I finally picked up my 2006 "Antique Bronze" Grand Prix GT for $6,200 with 130k on the odometer. The reason I didn't have a car for so long is because my 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee got totaled :( (No, I wasn't at fault). Since I am still in high school it took my parents a little while to deal with insurance as well as find something reliable that will last me through college. I'm really excited to have hopped from the JeepForum over to here.. Therefore I am familiar with forums and know to USE THE DAMN SEARCH BAR haha. I also have spent the last 2 weeks reading all the basic knowledge forums such as the "How to safely mod your 3800", all of the KR threads, etc.

Anyway, here she is! Wasn't my first color choice but here in Southeast Nebraska you see more Grand Prix's than anything else and I figured I'd go with something different.





These pictures are just from the Craigslist ad since I haven't had a chance to take any new ones yet.. (I'm in a full leg brace) This interior though is really what caught my eye, I absolutely love it. Thanks for looking and let me know what you guys think!

Welcome, I too am a former Jeep owner.

I had a green 2000 GC Limited.

Let me put it this way- The Jeep pissed me off a lot more than the GP ever has.

Thanks everyone! & Yes I am in SE Nebraska lol. Hour south of Omaha as well as Lincoln (dad lives in Bellevue). Also 15min from the Missouri line and 30min from the Kansas line.

I'll be a senior, but I have 3 semesters left so we'll probably overlap for a semester

I'm not sure where exactly he took the pictures for the ad.. but I did pick it up at the Menards on Cornhusker in Bellevue.

I'm gonna do a full cleaning of the car tomorrow since I have the day off.. So I'll be sure to get some fresh pics on. I'm also thinking about starting a build thread.. more or less a thread to track everything I do to the car, not a whole lot of mods since I'm on a high school budget Haha.

Oh and also, for you local guys, are there any recommended places in Omaha or Lincoln that you know of where I can get my windows tinted? Going to get that done this weekend.
 
I'll give both a call here after bit. I am soo pissed it stormed today, I really wanted to clean the whole car. I did manage to get the interior done though and damn it smells good lol. Looks like tomorrow morning is when I'll do the outside and the engine bay.
