Well I had a great morning cleaned up the house , paid some bills and removed residue from debadging on the GTP till I went to pick up the freaking mail. As I went through the pile of bills I notice a bulky envelope from my city's police department I thought to myself WTF it was addresses to my wife.... Well I guess 2 weeks ago she got caught red handed going through a red light F@#K. $255 for a such stupidity I am pissed . Called her up at work and drop the news , I basically said " So I was having a great day till I picked up the mail" she response "Great! so what happened" I said"Well I went to pick up the mail and to my surprise their is an envelope address to you with a $255 fine". She responded by saying " We have been married 5 years and we will work it out" I basically told her that im not paying such stupid fine and that she needs to go to defensive driving classes to have it dismissed , I cant afford to keep throwing money away . I hope everyone is having a good day I feel better for venting off...

Years ago mine got one of these, $100 tickets. They give you the link to the video to show ur guilt online. Funniest thing I have EVER watched was her turning right through a red light, tapped the brakes and got down to a whopping 28mph! I framed the violation with the picture of her car. Not my ticket not my money = I dont care!
 
tell her she owes you big for this. and have a copy made and frame it so next time she *****es at you then you can say hey look at this.

Yeah she works man, ease up. Things happen and life will keep moving, it is why you call it a Rainy Day fund.

Beer sounds good, and im over it . We are just on a set budget and things like this piss me off :)

If she took that kind of response from you without retaliating, like reminding you of all your f*ck ups, you've got yourself a very collected women. Congrats.
 
that I agree on. waiting for that day when a cop is riding my ass and it turns yellow. BAM. Just obeying the law officer!
 


I'm giggling a little here.

Because I would be thrilled if the ticket came in for her instead of for me. While I haven't had this happen to me yet (all my tickets were deserved and handed to me directly), it sure could. I'm human and break a few rules like the rest of the universe. Could happen to anyone. Be glad it wasn't your dumb butt that got the ticket. Then......consider how poorly you handled it and treated her. I think some flowers and an apology are in order. She's your life's partner.....not a subordinate.

I realize that, the funny thing is that I drive like **** and she has more tickets than me :)
