Was driving to work the other day when a red blazer decided he wanted to be in my lane, so he started to merge right at me, so I nailed the horn. Lady in front of me either got scared of the horn, or saw something or was stopping for traffic (IDK which) but one second I was looking at the blazer the next I looked forward and there was a Silver Malibu 5 feet from me. Hit the brakes got down to 15-20 MPH before I hit her rear. :(

Got it to the shop, torn it down was about 3800 in damage. Thank God for insurance! Paid the deductible and the rest is on them.


Being fixed right now, hopefully have it back by mid week. Then installing the XP cam I got a month ago.... :th_shakinghead2:


In other news, the day before the accident I had put a ZZP sticker right above my headlight (Bcuz stickerz addz powerz rite giezzz???!!11), and needless to say the sticker is well wasted. So this is the email I sent to ZZP:

Hey there! So I purchased a cam and all the 'go alongs' last week and in the box was of course a beautiful black ZZPerformance.com decal. What did I do with this decal you might ask your self? Well, I placed it right above the driver headlight. It looked great. Only one problem with this decal. If I may direct your attention to the attached photos you can see it just does not sit right on the car anymore.




I cant tell what the cause may be and I think my decal might be defective. I was curious if you think you could send me another one?

In all seriousness, I hope I at least gave you a chuckle during my very gloomy day of wrecking my car. I got all the cam stuff in the mail and it all looks great, it was going to be installed this weekend; however, after this incident it may be awhile :( Oh well.

I got a envelope with 4 black decals in it 4 days later! ROFL! That one made me laugh a bunch!

Yeah Steves a good friend of mine. Just went to a party at his house last Saturday, he lives like less than a mile away from me. He does get a crapload of stupid emails CONSTANTLY so I'm sure he was happy to get one from you that was amusing.

Sorry about your car man, at least you had full coverage and can get it fixed (crazy how thats $3,800 in damage lol). I've never had full coverage work out for me. I've probably spent over 15-20k out of pocket in bodywork in the last 6-8 years.
 
Good to hear that everyone is ok.

Steve is a great guy. He's done a good job at turning ZZP's customer service around.
 


I think the big thing that people are overlooking here is that ZZP answered an email. But in all seriousness, I hope you get that beautiful car back on the road soon! Good luck!
 
If your's is 3800 in damage... i can only imagine how much mine is 0___0.

Grand prix's like to nose dive....

 
yeah I mean I had my entire car repainted for $3,800. And it needed a new fender and bumper at the time as well as rust removal on the roof and gas cap area.
