I posted a couple pages back about that. Dex 6 is a retro-upgrade to Dex 3. GM will use it if you bring your car to them. DEX 6 is a 100% times better for transmission componets than dex 3. so yes the shop was right in telling you that.

If you go to pg. 792 in this thread you can see the GM service bulletin i posted.

got the car finally aligned and new cam bolts in the back.. every things all nice for now.. want to get my exhaust done this next week before i go to alaska.. then when i get back.. new front brakes and rotors... repaint calipers too.. and then my fender hashes hopefully go on.. then... idk what to do next.....




maybe moar low? ;).. yes i know.. i said it..... here's a few pics from after i clay/wax/polished it.. has a dust layer on it from the races the night before. :(

Backed out of my garage, got too close to the door frame and ripped the passenger side mirror off. The seam on the muffler blew out a few weeks ago. loud as hell. Might as well straight pipe it now.. oh, and backed into a tree :/

Currently New England is undergoing a test of how much rain we can get in a given month.. it's wet. A couple quick lights from the highway when a Saturn is next to me. We get rolling and he seems to want the lead, not going to happen. Added maybe 5% throttle and pulled away. The on ramps at my exit are all 270 degree entrances, meaning from the sky it looks like a cloverleaf on the road. Saturn was trying to push me down the ramp, I took it at a comfy pace (afterall..it's a hard turn and wet). I look over as I accelerate to merge and I'm seeing his taillights on the ramp. Car that was behind him has driven right past. Hahahahahaha got a little light in the back and he looped it around.
 


well i installed a dual stage sensor to go with the autopage, its set up to where if i leave my windows down, it knows your hands in the car. and you know the normal pressure activated stuff if a window breaks.
