• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your Car today?

I'd like to see that, since I'm not sure how to secure it. Also I'm wondering how big the coolers are, and what will fit. I'd like the biggest possible for the summer. In the winter I can't have that since it would never warm up, so I would either cover it with something, or buy the smallest one and use it in the winter.

Don't buy the smallest...waste of money really. I'm currently running the middle on of the three listed above...actually two of em. It goes through one and into the other then back to tranny. Definitely makes a difference

Right, you've got a GXP so that would be the best way to go. A trans cooler on a GXP in hot temps is an absolute must. A GT in hot temps is recommended at the least. I may try to just get the biggest one and use it, I don't really want to do duel coolers. I'm gonna get a few pics of the space available.

How cold does it get where u guys are during the winters

So you had to run a lot of hose then. From the bottom of the condenser area, to the top of the radiator, and the bottom for the bottom line

No, the only hose that I had to run was from the trans lines (that came out of the radiator) to the cooler external cooler.

In Michigan winter weather, it often stays around 20°F. Too cold for a large trans cooler in my opinion.

In the winter I'll just take the lines out of the cooler and sick them back in the radiator. Then when it gets hot outside again, I'll just hook them back into the cooler instead.

Just make sure to plug the stock radiator with a plug so dirt and all don't get in it. Same for the external coolers when their not in use

dad was talking the other day about maybe being able to re route the tubing.. have it go radiator.... to the tranny first.. then engine.... then back to radiator.. or is that how it is already?

That's more work than its worth. Bypass the stock cooler all together and be done with it lol.
