Boyfriends brother and his wife and kids are in Tennessee on way home from vacation...transmission went out in the expedition. 4 kids, pulling a boat home and they are 8 hours away stranded. That's gotta suck.
And they just bought the thing a month ago.

i'd be calling the dealership they bought it from and have it towed on their expense. If they bought it from dealership.

thats a easy fix. they need to call a local dealership, they will tow the truck back for repairs and should set them up with a loaner, or pay for a rental to get home.


one month in and stuck on the side of the road will leave a bad taste in your mouth tho. thats ford for ya.

They bought it from a private seller. So I think they are SOL. they are hoping to hear something today.

lets hope it still has a warranty left.

a friend has one of them trucks, cant say i like any part of it much, it has the V 10 too. his front end makes noise and i could see parts moving and clunking, he also bought it used, but a POS all the same.
