Grand Prix starts then dies right after "Possible Fix!"

So I read an old forum about someone having the same problem as me "Car would start perfect then die right after" He cleaned the Throttle Body and didn't have the problem again. People said it could be the fuel pump not getting enough pressure before you start the engine which probably true for some people. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Cleaning your throttle body first "good clean too" and see if it fixes the problem. I used CRC Throttle Body cleaner and its been 1 week of a dozen starts "Cold & Warm" and has not died on me yet.
 


I had the same problem, I knew it had to be fuel pump because my tb had just been cleaned up after a lim gasket had been replaced. I just took the relay out and bent back the low fuel prong to by pass it

Could you explain that to me? How does that work? Ive had this issue for a year now, and my TB is clean as a whistle.

Did you take the TB off and look behind it? I know all cars will have carbon build up but what I was thinking for my situation was that when I started my car it didn't get the right amount of air which would cause it to sometimes die right after, if that makes any sense?

Still hasn't died yet!

I bent back 5 I think gm made a high low in the fuel pump, at low rpms gives less gas and after some time the low goes out so you just do a bypass and make it run on high, its a temporary but sometimes last a good time after doing it
 
My car had this issue. It would start then die right away. After the second or third try it would start and run fine. Spent $30 and about 5 minutes and replaced the fuel pressure regulator and haven't had ANY issues since (about a week now) and it used to stall EVERY time.
