• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

We made a 3`Stainless straight ultra quiet exhaust and WOW, what a difference...

After 5 pages and still cant tell if trolling or not....

Where the vids and pics at, ever get that exhaust clip up?

Come on now, what else do you need. Just read what I wrote, no one could come up with that.
And check out the videos.

This how the exhaust sounds from inside the vehicule. Keep in mind I have no rear seat and no spare/carpet in the back. so noise level is higher than it would be with a full interior.
I do have a full interior up front.

This exhaust + a cut out...What more could any 60 degree 3800 owner ask for?!
It probaly isn't restrictive enough for the cut out to be worth it. Unless you like loud when racing.
Actually being this quiet can be a problem, it's a hard to get a good launch beside a louder car, it will drown you and you just can't concentrate on the RPMs and traction

So your able to run this super small pulley by using meth and c16? How do you have your meth injection setup?

I'm injecting in the plastic vacuum port via an adjustable electronic methanol injection kit.
I'm injecting enough methanol that it will drop the A/F ratio a full point when it runs.
It starts injecting at 7 psi then goes full injection at 15 psi.

The whine is WAY louder than with the 2.8. I prefered the sound of the 2.8 pulley, now it sounds stressed instead of solicitated lol

Ever consider making a "stock shaped" exhaust with those res/muffs? I would REALLY be interested in a 3" (with a 2bolt 3" flange to fit my 3"dp) back to 2.5 muffs system for my turbo GTP. If you ever would think of making one, how much would you charge?

We could make a certain number of exhaust based on a popular 3" downpipe. It would have to be a 5 piece minimum order (group buy)
Price would have to be determined but I believe it would be around 1200 total. There are 2 resonators and 2 mufflers in the system and we are using high quality stainless as well.
AS a group buy it would be possible to bring down price to 1100$.

Also another thing that can be done is adapt your current exhaust using our mufflers, that would be cheaper around 600$ for all 4 high quality mufflers.
The mufflers are designed for turbocharged application and extreme EGTs. They will outlast anything currently on the market that is a straight through design.
Our new mufflers will only be available in about 2 months from now. Or we can build with a current standard high quality line of muffler (Vibrant).
I was not looking to build any exhaust as I figured there were already many on the market. But if there is a need for an ultra quiet very high flow exhaust then let me know. The more guys interested the higher the chances we will make it happen.

Played with timing today as I was still running a stock timing map. I don't see much improvement with more timing.
From 15 to 18-19-20 not much to be gained there. At 20 deg I got some KR at the top of the 2nd gear at 90mph.
My hotter than average intake charge and combustion temp (high boost/stock cam/stock manifold/no IC) probably naturally raise my timing.

Final fuel setup.
AV gas 100LL which is way cheaper + methanol = zero KR.
Pretty happy about it, shift points are prefect, Timing maps looks really good, car might have a 13.0 in it with winter tires and mid 12s on E.T. street.

37 lbs per min peak airflow

Wehlp, that explains that.
10.x AFR.
Right now it is rich. I have tried leaning out to 12.0 when I had C16 and meth.
Now it's rich again as a safety when trying out AV gas which turned out well. I will lean to 11.5 or so, peak torque AFR. That's the last setting I have to do for tuning.

AFR's that rich aren't great...Fuel washing the cylinders isn't good for the car either.
Yes I know. It's the extra cooling that is not a bad thing when 1st testing a new tune.
Leaner AFRs when combined with knock aren't as forgiving.

I'll tune it for around 11.5 which is a good compromise

Let me know what pulley you can get away with on that AFR and pump gas.

I'm guessing a 3.4"~ or maybe a smidge smaller.

I ran the 2.8 pulley up to 12.2 a/f no knock at all.
But the temps inside the combustion chamber have to be higher.
I like richer to cool things down a bit, give the stock cast pistons a chance.
