Just needed a charge.
Found a good place for my radar detector. Ebay has plugsthat tap into the mirror’s power so I don’t have to have the long cord pluggedinto the cigarette port. Only $20 for the plug so I ordered it.
My tint strip hides the detector well! :D Very pleased.










 




Love it. Best body style Vette not to mention a Z. How crazy you going to get with it engine wise? Subscribing for updates.
 
I would be careful with the radar detector behind your tint strip. Some tint actually blocks out radio waves thus giving you a ****ty signal. More or less you will physically see a cop before the detector will go off.

Heads and cam with the supporting mods...valve springs, pushrods, oil pump, etc. If it isn't this winter's project, it'll be next year sometime. Got a little loan on it to pay off first!

Good to know! I will drive around normal for a while and see how different it is than in my GP with it in plain view. BTW, my vision is not the best also, I always get a signal before actually spotting the cop.
 


Tinted le lights. Didn't want to go dark on the tails because it would be too much black on the ass-end.
