Hey everyone, new here to grand prix forums so take it easy on me lol. I currently live in the midland area and work at a day care. Love driving my 06 GP GXP to work everyday. Both me and my fiance each have one and go to events as often as possible. He used to be an avid fbody fan but recently switched to a gxp for a more convenient "baby hauler". No major mods for me other than magnaflow exhaust, k&n cai and some appearance mods. btw, having some issues with a weird squeaking noise that i can't get to the bottom of. Everytime i make a hard left turn through a parking lot I get a squeal almost like a brake sound when they're wore out or something.. idk, changed the pads to hawk performance and got new rotors and didn't seem to effect anything. Awesome breaking power though!!! I'm glad he convinced me on getting these things. I can stop on a dime now lol

And holy crap I see your location says Midland. Would that be Midland Texas? Years ago a buddy and me decided on a Friday night at 10pm we would drive there from Plano(DFW area). That's quite a drive and one that is far from fun and quite boring. All though we were young and stupid and made it quite an interesting trip.
You are probably wondering why in the hell would someone drive 5 hours from the big city to literally the middle of nowhere. Well, my buddy convinced me because he met some girls online who sent him pics and he swore up and down they were worth the effort. I obliged cause I am a random person, freaking love road trips, and any attractive females would be a bonus. Now up to this point my friend had a fine taste in women and I had no reason to doubt him. We made the best of a boring drive from mooning the small town local folk along the way to randomly picking up races. We also had fun with drivers on the road by making random sexual faces to pretending one or both of was schizophrenic and slapping ourselves. There is nothing more hilarious than watching the faces of other drivers in Texas while doing these things. We always got the best reactions from senior citizen drivers and young family couples.
Okay, so we arrive to Midland show up to this girls house and ring the doorbell. As the door opens the first thing we see is a large teenage girl with missing teeth and the ones not missing are crooked (think Myrtle Manor meets Honey Boo Boo's mother). In my head I'm already thinking of ways on how I would beat my friends ass and what town along the way I would leave him in.
She says you guys must be from Dallas, hi I'm Lisa, which one of you is Craig. I turn to my buddy and a sheer look of terror came across his face. Quickly analyzing if I wanted to throw him under the bus or not I decided to play the proper wingman and help my boy save face. I quickly state, well hello, neither one of us is named Craig, but we are here to spread the good news about God and that we're going door to door selling his good book in the name of Jesus. She says she's not interested and closes the door. My buddy and I got back in the car and drive right back to Dallas. I have never let him live that day down and as I told him his only saving grace was the mere fact he didn't send her his picture. Needless to say I refused to go on any other random trips if it involved meeting girls over the Internet. And I sure as hell have not been back to Midland.
