My fogs have not worked since I got the car, pulled the MM out to check out if I was getting power to bulbs and nada. Pulled apart the fog light switch and it looks messed up. Need a pic of what the little leads/wires should be doing.

Did you check the fuses? Should be a fuse box under the hood near the battery. Did you check to see if the switch is getting power to it, if so, is it sending power out of it when you turn it on? I have an extra switch Ill send to you for free if you pay the shipping from 16441. Good luck, Brian........

power was present last time i checked and fuses good. it would be great if you could pull the switch apart (4 tabs) & snap a pic of the internals instead.

Any chance the foglight switch from an Alero would work in place of your switch? if so, I got one I can send ya.

Thanks for the offers guys, but by the time I pay shipping, I could have picked up one at the wrecker for $5 - I really just need a picture to see where the pins should go or if there are some missing
Here is a pic of mine right now

That's why I glove up to work on cars. I'm also in an office and hear you about people looking at you when your hands are dirty.

Did you test the switch with the mm before pulling it apart?

I am no electronics whiz but couldn't get any continuity between any of the pins - the silver leads in the switch picture look out of place too. Better testing method?

It's a process of elimination if you don't have the schematic etc.

Power at fuse?
Power at switch?
Power out of switch?
Power at lights?

Power at fuse? - yes
Power at switch? - didn't check but I can say the fog light bulb doesn't work (although that may be meaningless)
Power out of switch? - didn't check
Power at lights? - no

Will check the "didn't checks" tonight
