Because they know however buys one won't be able to resist, void the warrentyand break expensive parts. Then that puts more money in nissan's pocket.

its like having this badass four-wheel drive truck but if you take it off rodeing it voids the warrenty.

they come out and say how its such a supper performer and give all its emphises on performance, but to acheive the numbers they got, you must break things and void the warrenty. i say F nissian. you know when they were doing all those test showing you how well it could take off they never said but this would void your warrenty and break parts. F them
 


no ive seen an actuall customer with this problem. he broke his transmission and took it back to nissian and they would not repair it. 20000$ bill. it "was" on a carforum were i read it so it could be false but he seamed pretty sensere about and others comentend on the same post how they have heard it will void your warrenty. but not from nissian they have just heard it threw the grape vines. and the way the customer puts it, its an actual fact.

not saying its 100% true, i havent heard this from nissian. but the guy seemed pretty troublematic about it and sensere. im taking his word for it. there has also been others to comment on how there transmission was starting to act up because of taking the lauch controll off and launching on it hard. now that i think about it i think i have heard one of the car shows say that it will void the warrenty. in the owners manual it specifcally says only use when in mud or snow

Nissan has always been that way, scarily unreliable and the worst stealerships ever.
 
heard latly that all owners must take there car back in to get the lauch controll removed, if not, then that also voids warrenties. why not get a c6 zo6 and be done with it.
 




i wouldent mind staring at those tail lights :D just to see/hear it go would be worth it.

hell yea dirty fast, hell the c6 zo6 is dirty fast, and they really dont open up till 3rd or 4th because of all there torque management
 
I don't think anyone would unless they had a VTAK!!!!!

Yeah but they are highway hell, they just cruise looking for stuff to chew up. If he got the ZR1 I would be at his house every day, but I am sure there is some kind of a list he would have to get on. Not quite as extreme as a ferrari enzo but still a list.
 
But you know, you could get a zo6 and put a tt set up on it, not spend nearly the cost of a zr1 and be faster.
