• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

i feel if a person can afford a 2-50k for a car with odb2, why the fu k cant a person spend 50$ on a simple code reader. the firstt god damn time it gets used it pays for itself and saves you money over going to a shop.

such a handy tool that so many people over look, ......... i just dont get it

I have one...but oreillys, auto zone, and many other auto parts stores do it for free
So some people are probably just why spend the money

I stop at Advance and they let me use theirs. If people don't know how to use it they will read your code for you.

I should get one, but right now, it's not necessary.

what if a persons car is taking a dump how would you drive there,

ebay 20$

id rather not have to rely on others for such a minamal cost

i had a bad experience with my last car (95talon), i spent more time doing harness repairs then driving it, had a pile of factory splices that died,

i hear ya past that though, never had too much grief with cel and drivabilty

its 20$ though.......

Also, i know you can get free reads from american parts stores, but i dont think that happens here in alberta

but at the end of the day in many ways im a cheap bastard, so i cant bring myself to have anyone touch my car

A cranksensor is something often over looked with no start issues .

Be nice to have a code reader at home to see its that sensor cause you won't be driving anywhere if that goes completely bad

I've currently got 3 of them, two are locked to certain vehicles for tuning, but they'll all read codes. And I'd be lucky if all of my cars combined would be worth 50k.

I want a 4k code reader. It not only reads codes but tells you the value of each sensor. It really helps you know when and what you need to change.

buddy i got a solus ultra that was lightly used, not something i except everyone to buy, but good damn i love that thing, it does so much, lots of tests, and a great troubleshooter section that points out where too look

i get other ppl to pay for it cause i scan cars locally OBD2 code reads/erase, scan, Relearns - Edmonton Auto Repairs, Maintenance Services - Kijiji Edmonton Canada.

i only do about 3 a week but i only have to pay 110 a month, so everything i take from this i put on the bill and should have this baby paid off in no time

Dsm is the first problem with the beginning of this and I agree on the doing more electrical then driving the pile but it sure was fun when I could drive it about 450 to the wheels on 20psi :) Oh and mine was a 95 gst both 5speeds
