Im looking for help with my 2001 GTP, 83K. Since about 50K, the car has been giving me a vibration that feels more like a wheel out of round. Its not always there, usually at about 25-30mph, worse when its cold out or even when the car is cold, or sometimes after turning. usually smooths out above 35mph. Comes back a little at 50mph. smooth again at 65mph.
Every time I've had any work done I ask the shops to check for causes of this problem. They always tell me the front end is in good shape. tires have been replaced + balanced also-no change, also sway bar-no change either.
Now I'm starting to wonder if I need struts or engine/tranny mounts.
Thanks in advance for any help.

engine/transmission mounts and axles are usually the culprits for any vibrations that aren't wheel/tire related.

Does the hop or vibration feel worse when u turn around turns certain ways? Or can u feel it while accelerating then not when u let off the gas? The more details about when u feel it the better

not lowered (no mods). It is sometimes worse after a right turn (when cold)and also seems to lessen under acceleration.

OK now it sounds more like a CV half shaft. I had to replace mine and they were like that. If u turn right and it happens then it would the left side CV half shaft that needs replacing. I would inspect that CV half shaft and see if the boot is broken or leaking grease

No problem. Jack the car up and put it in neutral and spin front tires see if u hear anything. Also grab the wheel at the 12 and 6 o'clock and push and pull see if there any wiggle if so its a bearing. Then grab at the 3 and 9 oclock and wiggle it...if there's play a tie rod end is bad
