what should i do to get this sound?

soo i just want a low throaty exhaust note. no cracking or popping and not very loud. i just wanna advertise what my engine can do. borlas sound pretty nice havent heard any in person tho. any advice?
 


from stock to a borla is like night and day. its pretty nice sounding and looking. i havent heard any other aftermarket exhausts tho. so i dont know which has the best sound.

Uninstall V6. Install LSx family engine.

Have fun figuring out the in between. ;)
 


you want a throaty sound from a V6? lol wont happen!! i had an SLP cat back still sounded bad, so i added 40 series flows pffft i got more rumble but it sounded the same. it just wont happen with a V6.... try cherry bombs, but that will give you a pop or sputter

only good sounds come from V8's get a GXP bonneville or grand prix

i got 40 series too with dual rolled tips ....sounds pretty good IMO
 
Change the mufflers will change the tone, but what ever you do, keep the resonator in there regardless!

I have 3 chamber Flowmasters, and I think it sounds pretty good. Got louder, and more "tingy" after I knocked out the cat's guts.

Listen to a couple Magnaflow XLs. They're large mufflers and two of them can do the job of the resonator too. I have no res, no drone, and a pretty mellow tone even under WOT.
 


if you can find raven exhaust it sounds great and to the contrary it will have a deep throaty sound ,,, my gtp sounds like a small v8 when you hit the remote start and it cranks up,,, so yes there is a deeper exhaust and it does not pop or crack at all,,, took me several weeks to find this exhaust but i purchased it at my local midas dealer and i changed the exhaust tips as well
 
headers. made my car sound more ballsy. there with out a cat also. as far as mufflers i like mine stock. not trying to magnify the crapy grandprix sound our cars make :/
