gtp having trouble idling

so my 97 gtp everyone once in awhile, it's done it 3 times in a month....will start up, and have trouble idling, it's stalled a few times, after a minute of being really angry, it usually stops and idles fine. is this the fuel pump resistor problem i've heard about with these cars?

I like the idea of a vacuum leak when it's cold, but I think the possibility is greater that there is a problem with the Idle Air Control Valve (IAC).

It's worth taking off and inspecting. Make sure to get some TB cleaner and clean the pintle on the IAC as well as the IAC passages in the TB.

Good call thats what I was gonna say...or like I have suggested many times before...it could be a MAF going south on ya...but then you said it was only 3 times a month so idk...

Maybe your car is just on the rag:th_nanana:

jk

so i remembered today, another thing...it can't be a vacuum leak when it's cold, cause it does it sometimes when it's still at operating temperature.
