The SRT8 Challenger's are supposed to trap very low 13's in the 1/4 bone stock. Surprisingly, if I remember right, Road & Track said that the Challenger was only about 100 or so pounds lighter than the Charger. It does however have the 6.1 HEMI pumping out 425 HP and about 450 ft. lb.s of torque. There was one @ KCIR a few weeks ago and it ran consistant 13.2's all night. I ran a SRT8 Charger with the Mopar Stage 1 Kit (CAI, Catback, and Tune) and I was about a car length ahead from a dead stop until about 90 or so and he caught me...hence when I slowed down...so I imagine that a Challenger would probably have been a dead even race and even quicker in the top end, but I still would like to run one too![]()
13.2'S with 400+ HP?
13.2'S with 400+ HP?
By the way, your'e 13.4 et was with what pulley size if u dont mind?
3.25" on street tires, pump gas, and a full interior...also I only had a base DHP PCM (vs my custom tune now), ported TB (vs the LS1 I have now), and stock motor mounts...now everything is poly...last time I went I was consistent 13.5-13.6 in Branson with the temp being around 90* or so @ the track...the 13.4 was in about 50* weather if I remember right...:th_scratchhead:
So I am hoping for 12's with the new mods...cold day, good launch, race gas, the 3.1", and a little something else![]()
What was your'e timing @?
Was that 13.5-13.6 with the cam?
