That all there is? I am getting my new stereo Kenwood KDC-BT852 Monday. All the wires go color to color then just connect the blue to the pink to power the amp when you turn on the radio? I have a 2002 Grand Prix GTP with BoseThere is two plugs on the back of your stock radio harness. The smaller of the two with 4 wires? IIRC ( its been a while since I talked about this ) anyways there is a solid pink wire in the smaller plug. That is your cars amplifier power turn on wire. You wire up your HU with the wire harness adapter like normal and then you have your blue remote turn on wire from your HU... Connect that blue wire from your HU to the pink wire coming out of your dash for the Amp turn on. This will power your bose amp like normal and give you sound.
Nice to hear that the ASWC-1 works great. What wiring harness did you use to interface your aftermarket stereo with the Bose system?Ended up installing the Kenwood KDC-BT852HD with Bluetooth streaming which by the way works great. The stereo sounds great with the Bose system and I don't think I am going to get a sub because the bass is plenty for me. I also like the hands free talking on my cell and I installed the microphone on the sun visor. I will have to get another face plate later because it sticks out about a inch. The reason I used the one is because it came with the stereo along with the harness. The Axxess ASWC-1 works great and had no problems connecting and it learned everything on the stereo and the steering wheel. The face plate, I am going to get it from www.humount.com which has one that lights up and it is a flush mount. By the way, when I wired the steering wheel adaptor it mentioned a resistor which I did not have, it programmed without it.
I just went and looked. oops. Thought he had the RCA wire harness from the factory
Keep us updated.
How much of your dash did you have to trim, or were you able to stuff it in there with no trimming?Post pics when you're done. I didn't use a mount kit. Just made my own brackets. Let me know how the steering wheel interface works out. It's the last thing I would like to add.

I didn't trim any of the bezel. But I had to remove part of the back where the factory radio stud goes.
Well, after seeing your installation, and someone else's installation, I think I am definitely going to go with a Double Din system. Since I don't want to do the install till the world warms up a bit, I have some time to find a good one. Would love one with Nav in it.
