Tire pressure warning

So on my 1997 GTP the check tire pressure light came on.

Got home, checked the tires... all were between 36.5-37.5. Tires are new (got a couple months ago.)

So - will this light trip if the pressure is too high? I thought I ran over something earlier, so I was cursing on my way home.... :th_laugh-lol2:

I know how to reset it, but this is the first time I've seen it light up with high tire pressure, not low tire pressure.

Most people, if they know the differences between the 97 and 98, are probably grateful for the decreased wind noise on the 98.

I'm grateful because I did have traction control and DIDN'T have this garbage.

I don't have traction control. It's a GTP.

It occurred to me the other day I might've swapped position on the tires. I reset the light with the button, and monitored the tire pressure over a few days. It doesn't seem to be losing any...

I think it's fine.
