Window Tint Questions and Rear Speaker Questions

Hey I have a couple questions regarding my 2005 Grand Prix. One of my rear speakers is making hissing noises and crackling at almost all volumes, so I think it's due for replacement, if anybody has any suggestions for speakers for replacing the two rear ones that would be great. The grille covering the top of it is also broken and I'm not sure where I can find a replacement for that.

I've decided that I want to tint my windows and was thinking about doing 35% all around, all around meaning the the four side windows and the rear windshield, and a small sliver on the top of the front. Some of my friends suggested 20% but I worry that that will be too dark and I would be pulled over right away. My car is the metallic spiral grey color and was wondering if you guys had any suggestions on what percentage of tint looked the best, I would like to be able to see out of it easily but don't want to waste money on tint if I'm only going to put 50% on.

Any help is appreciated

I have had mine tinted 35% since 07 and have never been stopped for tint. I was pulled over for speeding and turning on a 'no turn on red' and there was no mention of tint. I bet it would be a safe bet to do 20%. Someone had mentioned a while back keeping the visor open on the sunroof to allow more interior light in.

i have 20 on my 04 and my other vehicle and all vehicles i have ever had never been stopped for it or had to take it off. Love it, its not all that dark..

Yeah I think I'm going to do all 20% and then maybe 35% on the back. Do you guys have any input on the speakers? I haven't been able to find replacement grilles, but I guess it isn't that big of a deal, it's only a cosmetic nuisance. But as far as purchasing a new pair, what would be a decent upgrade, I actually thought the stock speakers in my car were pretty decent until the one crapped out. I was looking at something like this: MTX TDX65 Thunder Dome Series 6-3/4" 2-way speakers at Crutchfield.com would that be a good upgrade or?

5% is way to dark for my blood, i used to have that all the wya around back in the day, but you cant see anything at night,or backing up. 20% is a very happy medium and looks very good, and not gonna get bothered by cops.. pioneer is a good brand, remember you get what u pay for..

I have 15% and it's just right for me. My wife thinks it's a little to dark, especially at night. I put a set of 3-way Pioneers in the rear of mine that were marked down at Wal-Mart for $20 and they sound ok with the stock head unit. It's like anything else, you get what you pay for. You'll have to remove the back seat to get to the speakers.
