ZZP Header Install

OK here goes.... Im going to order ZZP headers and downpipe (yes i know its too expensive but for the cost of a shop to weld pace's it will work out to near the same price) Ive heard that I'm going to need a new tran dipstick and shorter dog bones, can anyone verify this. What else should I get that I may need. One more thing, I dont plan on tuning for about a year when I add more mods... Is this dangerous or a bad idea to run with headers with no tune?

Current mods CAI

Whereabouts in Canada geoff? And yes you will need to bend the dip stick if I remember and shorter dog bones as they will hit your fan. And you should really get it tuned when they are put on.

Im in Thunder Bay pretty much next to no-where for a tune. I was hoping to get away without a tune. Guess I'll have to get a off the shelf PCM. Im also open for suggestions on header brand... just want to stay away from welding if i have to since I dont have the capability to do that on my own.

Oh nice.. Price doesn't seem bad at all. Looks like I'm out of luck though with a 2004 gp :(. They had 97-03 on there

with the zzp headers for the original poster, u dont need shorter dog bones for the headers. I have them and they are by far a ways away from the fan. Now the tranny dipstick is another story...

My car is an 05, I've read that there may be some fan motor interference with the header.

SSAC?? Should I get these over the ZZP headers? Price is not a issue.. welding is

if you got shorter dog bones it would pull the headers closer to the fans....

i thought my pacesetters dident fit at first but once i got everything on it has about an inch of clearence from the headers to the fans.

if anything, you would get the off center motor mounts, well the ones that go in the dog bones, and put them in backwards to push the motor back further to give you the extra room.

anyways, i dont have fitment issuies with my pacesetters.
